The new zMAX Dragway hosted NASCAR Night, an all-star studded event as part of the opening of this new state-of-the-art facility in Charlotte. Celebrities and Drivers from all racing series raced their favorite muscle cars to break-in the new track. The RCR Series 3 Camaro was driven by Hillary Will, driver of the KB Racing Top Fuel dragster of Kalitta Motorsports. Hillary was “blown away” by the RCR Series 3 Camaro’s awesome power and handling, as well as the craftsmanship of the custom build muscle car.

The 1969 RCR Series 3 Camaro was featured in the General Motors display alongside the new 2009 Camaro to commemorate Richard Childress Racing, founded in 1969, and celebrate the reintroduction of the legendary Camaro. Eric Bloom, the frontman guitarist of Blue Oyster Cult, also cruised the Woodward over the weekend in a RCR Series 3 Camaro for AutoWeek Magazine and reviewed the car in an article written with Bob Gritzinger.

Yes, that would be nice, but we’re dreamin’ here.
